Mission
The Emerging Workforce Initiative builds the capacity of communities, schools and families to
prepare all youth and young adults for the 21st Century workforce.
To achieve its mission, the Initiative:
- Conducts research on education and workforce issues;
- Identifies and promotes effective strategies for preparing young people for work;
- Develops the resources needed to successfully implement these strategies.
Professional Staff and Consultants
The Initiative works with a highly skilled team of writers, evaluators, and development
professionals with experience in workforce and training programs, nonprofit management, grant
writing, curricula development and program evaluation.
